Approach
Art School Unlimited is based in London and works with students internationally. It is led by a practising artist and former Art & Design lecturer, with experience teaching across GCSE, A-Level, Foundation, and BA level.
The teaching approach is grounded in studio practice, adapted for one-to-one online delivery. Sessions are built on a foundation of looking, thinking, and making, with an emphasis on critical discussion and independent decision-making. Students are supported to develop a clear visual language, rather than relying on formulaic templates.
This rigorous, bespoke approach is tailored to the individual goals of each student and delivered remotely, providing high-level guidance regardless of location.
Students are supported in progressing through formal education and in preparing applications to university and leading UK art schools.
Mission & Bio
Led by a practising artist and former Art & Design lecturer, with experience across GCSE, A-Level, and BA level, Art School Unlimited provides focused one-to-one support for students at different stages of their development.
Based in London and working internationally, the programme supports students within formal education as well as those preparing applications to university and leading UK art schools. This includes institutions such as University of the Arts London, University College London, and Goldsmiths, University of London.
The focus is on supporting the transition from school-level study to more independent, self-directed practice, helping students develop the confidence, clarity, and depth required for further study.
Programme & Trips
Students engaged in the programme are invited to take part in focused, in-person study trips throughout the year.
These small group visits are designed to support development through direct engagement with significant artworks, exhibitions, and collections.
Trips take place three times annually and provide opportunities for students to meet and spend time together while visiting major galleries and museums.
Forthcoming locations for 2026–2027 include London, Paris, and Berlin.
Alongside this, guidance is offered around visiting art schools, including support with attending open days at leading UK institutions, alongside online sessions exploring the UK art school landscape and application process.
